Another year of believing, hoping, dreaming,
learning children.
Listening more, talking less.
Adapting, like a chameleon, to their needs.
Seeing with the eyes of all senses
–who they are.
The last day shares equal parts
glee, and sadness.
It is summertime,
and you all crave the promise
of long days in the sun,
ice cream, lazy, hazy, joy.
But you also know
what a long great journey
you have traveled together
to reach this good – bye.
